i’ve recently been introduced to canadian r&b singer/producer abel tesfaye who goes under the title the weeknd. his rise to the public eye has really just happened in the past two years yet he’s put out three solid albums; echoes of silence, thursday, and house of balloons. i have a hard time picking one song to say is my favorite but i would recommend listening to his cover of michael jackson’s dirty diana (d.d. on echoes of silence) to understand the potential that he has. the best part is all three of his albums are free to download off of his website.
